Guess Bombshell - Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra looks absolutely stunning in her latest Guess campaign shot by singer Bryan Adams!

PC is going places! Yet a lot of folks have been harsh, judgmental and critical of her music, style and career choices! Give the woman a break already!!! She has achieved a lot more compared to other celebrities of the Indian origin. And this campaign is a beautiful jeweled feather in her very ornate cap.
She is also the first Bollywood superstar to be signed on by CAA, ace talent agency in LA that also represents biggies like Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston and Mariah Carey.

Take a look at the sexy campaign shots! Enjoy.

Red is probably the most festive color ever! It is also a big trend this Fall &Winter! And therefore, a pretty obvious choice when it comes to festivals and in our country nothing gets bigger than Diwali celebrations.

This outfit is a great fusion between traditional and western elements. Bright red cape kurta with dull gold embellishments has been paired with basic blue denims and a black sequined vest! Black heels, gold earrings and metallic clutch finish the look. A neutral gold watch is a must to keep things balanced and classy! It is a stylish attempt to keep you from getting delayed & to track time if you are juggling between parties just like a typical Delhi social butterfly ;)

Remember, don't go over board with accessories as this is already a bright and bold look. To match the festive spirit nails and lips are done in gorgeous shade of tangerine!

Lip colors can make or break your look!

Choosing  right make up is as important as choosing the right outfit for an occasion! We seldom pay attention to lip color and don't really think through the shade we should wear with a particular outfit!
Though we agree that you should wear shades that uplift your mood but it is also vital to pay heed to the occasion for which you are dressing.
It is extremely important to know your environment before selecting a lip color. Orange, red and hot pink are very trendy currently but you definitely don't want to wear either of these for your big interview.

LBBS's  "POUT GUIDE" to help you choose wisely-

First Date !!!
Avoid over the top bright lip colors like orange, pink and red as they could be intimidating! We suggest you keep these fiery sirens for a third or fourth date with the same guy. Shades of nude lipstick or glossy pale pinks work brilliantly! Sophisticated, kissable, delicate and subtly sensuous is the best way to win him over and leave him wanting for more!

Cocktail Party
Recommended – Oxblood
Make a bold statement with your pout. This is the perfect occasion to be daring. Oxblood is the color of Fall and Winter. You could  also choose other berry or wine based hues as they work superbly during chilly climes!

Conventional Office
Recommended: Natural shades, nude lipsticks, shades of light pink, peach and soft browns.
Your office is certainly not the place to flaunt you pout .If your office has a serious conventional vibe, please stick to basics .Our recommendations will help you get noticed; for right reasons of course!! ;)

Non-conventional Office
Recommended : Red
If you work in a creative space or fashion forward work environment, you can experiment with red lipstick, it will add a fun element while still keeping your look elegant. But please make sure you are not going over board with eye make up! Keep the rest of your look simple and clean!

Fashion Evening/Party/ Girls Night Out
Recommended: Orange or Fuchsia
If there is one lip color that looks absolutely stunning on Indian skin, it's orange!
You can also rock magenta, fuchsia or hot pink lips! This will make your look glam, fun and playful!

Alright, hopefully this post will throw some light on your lipstick dilemmas!
Enjoy that pout & Happy Styling xoxo

Feeling Dirty ??;-)

How about making yourself some superbly simple and cost effective body wash? ? We are not the biggest fans of messy soap bars! Body wash on the other hand is easy to use, lathers well and feels luxurious! So we thought of this crazy trick to turn soap into body wash and pamper ourselves!

We have fallen in love with the creative recipe and have been busy making batches of this DIY body wash to keep up with its demand from friends and family ;)

In the midst of all this we thought of sharing this luxurious formula with you!!!

What you need:

Soap bar (any) we have used half of this rose bar

  •  Cheese Grater

  • Distilled Water

  • Rose Water

  • Almond Oil (Optional)

  • Essential oil (any) we have used rose

1 cup to measure
Wooden ladel
Container for your Body Wash

Let’s get started!

1.      Start this magical recipe by grating soap

2.      After grating, add soap flakes to the pan

3.      Add 2-3 cups of water. You can add more water later if the mix is too thick.

4.   Place the pan on stove (medium heat) for 30 minutes. Stir the liquid till flakes disappear. It will start looking thick and milky.

5.      Since the water will evaporate while heating you might need to add some more to get to the right consistency.

6.        Let the body wash sit to cool for about 30 minutes.

7.      Add some rose water, essential oil and almond oil. Mix it well and pour it in a clean jar or any used empty body wash container

Voila!!! Your super luxurious yummy body wash is ready to use!!

Did we mention how great this smells? And almond oil leaves your skin feeling soft, supple and sexy!

Things to remember!!!

For first timers- when you attempt this DIY, the amount of water you need to add may vary based on different kinds of soap.

Start with 2-3 cups of water. If the liquid gets too thick once it cools, heat it again and add more water to it. If the body wash is runny add some more soap and put it back on stove till you get the right consistency.

We really hope you get to try this!! Leave us a comment if you do.

Till next time, Happy Styling xo

Retro Vintage Dungarees

Here we have combined three currently trendy items! Dungarees/Overalls (these are vintage... thank you mommy for bringing retro back), fanny pack and mirrored sunglasses! We have added some sliver spiky arm candy to bring this look together. You could also wear canvas sneakers instead of heels to make it even more casual.
You could ditch the fanny pack and carry a bright clutch instead, making the look more dressed up.

Style tip- Fold up the cuffs of your dungarees to make it look chic! Two folds will do the trick.
