HAPPY SCALP !!!

SCALP SCRUB!

Yes loves, you heard us right! Scalp scrub. We all religiously and regularly scrub our face, feet, body, hands et al but often neglect our scalp.

Just wishing for beautiful hair is not enough! We need to work for it !

For beautiful and healthy hair, it is absolutely essential to keep our scalp clean and healthy. And this is true for both men and women!

LBBS gives you an easy DIY scalp scrub formula that you could try over the weekend. This exercise will leave you feeling good about yourself and that is a promise! :)

Scrubbing  has rejuvenating properties and instantly improves blood circulation. It also helps get rid of flakes and increases hair growth while keeping it healthy and shiny. And you will feel the difference right from the first scrub!!

What you need

·         2 tbsp. brown sugar/sugar
·         2 tbsp. finely ground oatmeal
·         2 tbsp. hair conditioner
·         10-15 drops of essential oil and 5 drops of olive oil

Get started!

Step 1

Add 2 tbsp. brown sugar and 2 tbsp. finely ground oatmeal to a small bowl. Add 2 tbsp. hair conditioner to the mix and knead the ingredients together with your hands

Step 2

Add 10- 15 drops of essential oil (of your choice) and 5 drops of olive oil to the bowl and mix it all together

This is it!! Your Scalp Scrub is ready! :)

How to use it?

Step 1

Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly. If you have used any styling products such as gel, mousse or spray, make sure to wash your hair (with shampoo) before scrubbing

Step 2

Get two tablespoons of the scalp scrub mix onto your fingers. Place your fingers on scalp and gently start scrubbing in a firm circular motion.

Step 3

Add more scrub mix, if needed. Continue to massage in a circular motion for a few minutes, until you have covered the entire scalp area.

Step 4

Rinse the scalp scrub from your hair with cold water, follow it with shampoo and then condition as normal.

Things to remember

  • Do not use more than twice a week
  • Use only cold water to rinse off, using hot water will destroy effects of oils present in the scrub
  • Lastly, never heat the scalp scrub, heating will melt the sugar crystals away and destroy exfoliating properties
